Kia has added another big win to its electric vehicle lineup. At the 2025 World Car Awards, held during the New York International Auto Show, the Kia EV3 was named the World Car of the Year.
This marks Kia’s sixth World Car Award since 2020, continuing a strong run of success. Last year, EV9 made to the headlines. Now, the smaller and more city-friendly EV3 is in the spotlight.
The EV3 carries the same bold style and advanced features as the EV9 but in a smaller size. Despite its compact build, it offers a long driving range of up to 605 km on a full charge (WLTP, 81.4 kWh version) and can charge from 10% to 80% in just 31 minutes.
Inside, the EV3 is packed with modern tech, including an AI-powered assistant, advanced safety features, and software updates. It’s designed to be smart, spacious, and easy to use.
The EV3 will compete with models like the Hyundai Kona Electric, MG ZS EV, BYD Atto 3, and the Tata Curvv EV.
